With his electrifying style and contagious energy, Sondre is one of the most beloved international stars in the swing dance world. Originally from the scenic Norwegian town of Dombås, he started dancing at just 5 years old and soon stood out in competitive circuits for Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, and Solo Jazz. By age 13, he was already teaching swing in his local community.

After reaching the semifinals of Norway’s Got Talent in 2007, his path was filled with success: Junior European Boogie Woogie Champion, World Champion, and winner of 7 Fast Feet Jack’n’Jill titles. But his real breakthrough came in 2016, when he partnered with Tanya. Together, they became a legendary dance couple known for their perfect synergy, technical brilliance, and musical creativity.

From live stages to global screens, Sondre & Tanya have become leading ambassadors of vintage culture and swing dance. With over 500,000 followers and millions of views, they’ve revolutionized how Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, and Jazz Roots are taught and experienced around the world.

We had the honor of welcoming Sondre to the heart of the Salento swing scene during one of our most unforgettable events – a workshop with Sondre and Tanya that brought together swing music, vintage fashion, vinyl vibes, and the joy of social dance nights.
