Marcella Maini is a Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz teacher and performer with a deeply theatrical soul and an infectious passion for swing dancing. After a long career as a professional actress, she discovered Lindy Hop in 2009 at the Flying Alligators school in Como — and it was love at first sight. Since then, swing dance has become one of her greatest lifelong passions.

She currently teaches in Bologna and Parma with the Swing Dance Society, where she also serves as the artistic director, curating the creative vision and visual identity of the association. Her training includes numerous international festivals and workshops where she studied with some of the best swing dancers in the world.

In 2018, she joined Morris Vespignani for a workshop weekend in Lecce, an event that marked a milestone in the spread of swing culture in southern Italy.

Marcella is also an expert in vintage hair and makeup, bringing a truly retro touch to her performances and classes. Her energy, experience, and dedication turn every class into an exciting journey through the world of swing.
