Katja Završnik is one of the most refined and versatile figures on the international swing dance scene. Originally from Ljubljana, she began dancing at the age of five, training in ballet, jazz, modern dance, ballroom, and acrobatic rock and roll. Since 2005, she has fully dedicated herself to early American jazz and Swing Era dances such as Lindy Hop, Balboa, Charleston, St. Louis Shag, and Authentic Jazz.

Her deep knowledge of these styles makes her one of the most sought-after swing dance teachers worldwide. Her dancing is known for its elegance, musicality, and subtle finesse, making her a captivating presence in every social dance setting. Watching her live, you’ll be struck by her softness, speed, and connection to the music.

Katja has taught and performed at top international swing events across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Her participation in the Salento Swing Festival left a lasting impression on our Swing Dance Community, enriching the atmosphere with her charisma and unique style.

Beyond dancing, Katja is also a certified pre/post-natal exercise specialist, demonstrating her continued dedication to promoting wellness through movement and dance.
