Moe Sakan, born in Osaka, Japan, is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer with extensive training in jazz, ballet, tap, and contemporary dance. Her journey into the swing dance world began in 1999, and by 2000 she moved to London, where she brought her unique style and sparkle to the UK swing community.

Throughout her career, Moe has earned international acclaim, winning prestigious titles, including the world’s largest Jack ‘n Jill at Frankie 95 alongside Marcus Koch, and being crowned Miss Camp Hollywood 2016. In 2017, she was inducted into the Camp Hollywood Hall of Fame, which is a testament to her impact and passion for vintage dance culture.

Moe is a versatile dancer, mastering lindy hop, balboa, collegiate shag, and St. Louis shag. Her love for the vintage lifestyle shines through her dancing, fashion, and dedication to recreating an authentic style inspired by the Golden Age of swing.

She has performed on stage, television, and in films, traveling around the world to share her artistry and passion. Her appearance at the Salento Swing Festival left an indelible mark on the swing dance community in Salento, inspiring dancers of all levels.
