Egle Miccoli is a passionate dancer, teacher and choreographer specializing in Lindy Hop and Jazz Roots, based in Rome. Her artistic journey began at the age of 5 with classical, modern, and contemporary dance, later deepened through years of theatre training. In 2010, while on an Erasmus program in Valencia, she discovered Lindy Hop alongside Ilario Ritacco, immediately falling in love with its music, energy, and spirit. In 2012, after graduating in Italian Philology from the University of Bologna, she moved to Rome and officially began her Lindy Hop journey. Egle and Ilario immersed themselves in the European swing scene, training with top international dancers and attending workshops and festivals monthly.
This shared passion led them to co-found Spirit of St. Louis Roma, where they organize world-class events like Swingala and Spirit Lab. In 2017, Egle brought her vibrant energy to southern Italy during a Lecce swing workshop weekend with Ilario Ritacco.
Egle has taught in numerous Italian and international cities and has been invited to prestigious events such as Athens Rhythm Hop, Swing Train, Thessaloniki Swing Festival, Policoro in Swing, and Elba Swing Festival. Her love for social dancing shines through in every performance and class—where music, connection, and joy come to life on the dance floor.
Her teaching blends musicality, technique, and cultural roots, offering students a meaningful and inspiring swing dance experience.
