Giulia Cicerale is a dancer, choreographer, and Lindy Hop and Jazz Roots teacher, known in Italy and abroad for her elegant, theatrical, and passionate style. Fascinated since childhood by vintage vibes and swing music, she approached dance through her theatre studies and explored partner dances like Argentine Tango before discovering Lindy Hop during a stay in Valencia — a true love at first sight.

In 2013, together with Stefano Tertulliani, she co-founded Dusty Jazz in Turin, now one of the most vibrant and respected swing dance communities in Italy. There, she works as a teacher, performer, choreographer, and event organizer.

In 2017, she was part of the very first Lindy Hop workshop in Lecce organized by our association, creating a spark that ignited the Salento swing scene.

Her training includes top European events like the Herräng Dance Camp, Lindy Shock, and Paris Jazz Roots, where she continues to refine her style by studying with internationally renowned teachers. With Stefano, she won the Italian Lindy Hop Cup (Milan, 2014) and placed third at the European Swing Dance Championships (2015) in the Open Lindy Hop Couple division.

Since 2014, she has been regularly invited as an international teacher to major festivals such as The Chase Festival, Swing Summit, Policoro in Swing, Elba Swing Festival, and Swing Upon a Time, bringing her joy and unique flair to dancers all over Europe.
