Davide Rizzo is a passionate Lindy Hop dancer, teacher and historian based in Genoa, Italy, and co-founder of the cultural association Your Swing. He began his musical journey as a drummer in a band and collaborated with a Genoese folk singer-songwriter.

In 2012, he discovered Lindy Hop and started attending monthly workshops with international teachers, diving deep into the historical and cultural roots of swing music and dance.

In 2017, Davide joined Valentina Liotta for a Lindy Hop workshop weekend in Lecce, where he also presented his inspiring “Lindy Talk”—an engaging mix of music, storytelling, and video about the origins of Swing. This talk has since been hosted in cities like Turin, Milan, Florence, Bologna, Naples, and Pescara.

His classes are a vibrant mix of musicality, technique, and historical context. Always with a tablet in hand, Davide loves showing iconic Swing Era footage, lighting up when his students connect with the music and hit a perfect break.

Davide continues to perform, teach, and train across Europe, spreading his passion and helping build a strong, informed Swing community.
